“We Are the World,” which was written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie and produced by Quincy Jones, is probably the biggest charity songs in history. The song was recorded by 47 predominantly American pop stars on Jan. 28, 1985, at Kenny Rogers’ famous Lion Share Recording Studio. I remember singing pre- selected parts with my dad. He was always Willie Nelson and I was always Cyndi Lauper and Michael Jackson. The other parts were fair game. Check out the song below. What was your favorite part?
