A couple of weeks ago I was thrilled to attend an early private invite to dine at the new Halal Guys in Atlanta. Hubby and I dined on amazing dishes and devoured some delicious baklava.

The halal Guys Chamblee, GA Atlanta

The popular New York‘chicken-and-rice cart turned brick-and-mortar restaurant started in 1990 as a street cart in Manhattan, is known for its gyro sandwiches and beef and chicken platters with rice. The franchise is being taken to the national level by Fransmart, a company that also transformed Five Guys Burgers & Fries and Qdoba into national brands.

The Halal Guys menu features a mix of various American Halal food including beef gyro sandwiches, chicken-and-rice platters and “secret” white sauce that is completely amazing! I feel like I could drizzle it on everything!

The Chamblee spot, which opened on January 28, at  4929 Buford Highway, Ste A will be open from 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Sundays-Thursdays and 11 a.m.-1 a.m. Fridays-Saturdays.
