On My Plate: Spaghetti Squash with Ground Turkey
On My Plate: Spaghetti Squash covered with ground turkey, bell peppers, onions and cheese. Simple meal and very easy to cook. Cook your ground turkey separately. Cut the spaghetti squash in half, and put them in the oven with the open sides face down in a pan. I usually cook them for about 30 minutes on 400, or until tender. So you will have to be careful when you try to flip it over to test the tenderness of the squash because the shell gets HOT! After it is done, I fork through about half of the squash just to loosen it and add my ground turkey on top (that already has the bell peppers and onions) and I add cheese. I let it bake in the oven about another ten minutes then viola!
