Nashville Hot Chicken in Atlanta At Parish

Friday Nights Just Got A Little Hotter at Parish.

Brasserie and Neighborhood Cafe at Parish is now offering their version of Nashville Hot Chicken. The specialty dish is fried chicken breaded and coated with spices, typically heavy on the cayenne and commonly served on white bread with dill pickles. Sounds delicious, right?

I was so excited to visit Parish to see what Chef Stuart Tracy was cooking up when I learned that  the Nashville Hot Chicken was added to the exclusive Friday Night menu in the form of two options: Nashville Hot Chicken Wings, Buttermilk, Dill Sour Pickle and Nashville Hot Half Chicken, Tomato- Celery Salad, Buttermilk, Soft White Bread.

Nashville Hot Chicken at Parish was delicious. I had the half chicken version and it was beautifully presented on the thick Texas Toast. The breading evenly distributed, not too thick, spicy enjoy and even a tiny bit of sweetness came through. I was so pleased that as I bit into the breast, the chicken remained juicy, which is hit or miss with a lot of restaurants.

As I mentioned before, the bird is only served on Friday nights and my suggestion is to get there early! Get ready to snap a pic of the pretty dish and to lick your fingers!

Parish is located at 240 North Highland Ave. in Atlanta. Check out www.parishatl.com for more information or to make a reservation, or give them a call at 404.681.4434.

  • I was just in Nashville and tried the chicken at Hattie B’s! I ordered the medium and it was still hot to me. It hit me right in the back of the throat. Tears in my eyes and choking i quicly grabbed for my lemonade. I would go back and get the mild, the chicken was really good!

Simply delicious, but way too much spice for me.
