Motions: Naturally You Review #DoYou

Life has been such a whirlwind this year. with the wedding and adjusting to married life I’ve barely had time to review a few products that I’ve received lately.
After 20 successful years, Motions has relaunched with 11 incredible products. Luckily, I’ve finally had a chance to try out the Motions For Natural Hair line and it’s pretty cool.   I like a shampoo that actually leaves my hair feeling clean with no buildup- so I usually stick to the usual which is Dr. Bronner’s Peppermint castile soap. I don’t use it often, but when I need a good clean, it is definitely my go to product.

Always out of order, I first tried the Motions Hair Gloss. I got my hair twisted in a protective style updo (see here) and I I would spray the gloss mainly on my fingertips and coat the scalp between my braids and hair. I’d tie it up afterwards with the gloss and after a workout to help my hair shine and stay frizz free.

Another product I want mention was the Motions Define My Curls. The directions say that you can use it on wet or dry hair, but I applied it to wet hair. I have a pretty decent curl when I was and go, but my curls where awesome when I combed define my curls through my hair.  I even finger curled a few strands and stuck a pin in them overnight and it created a beautiful ringlet, which is perfect for you girls who create a lot of styles –you will love the results of this product.

My ONLY dislike was the waxy feeling the product left on my  fingers. I had to wash them a couple of times to get rid of the residue but I didn’t have any evidence of the product on my finished hair.
If your looking for a new, affordable like for your natural hair- give the Motions naturally sworn didn’t line a try.
