There was a time when I could find the strength and the motivation to meal prep to assist me in my weight loss journey. But it seems like these days, I can’t seem to wrap my mind around the idea. It usually takes me all day, preferably a Sunday, but I’m exhausted by the time I’m done. Are you a true meal prepper? How many meals or days do you prep for?
Above I prepared lunch and dinner for 5 days! Chicken, cauliflower and sweet potato mash for lunch and tilapia and sautéed veggies (broccoli, bell peppers and mushrooms) for dinner.
On the picture about I prepared baked chicken and tilapia with purple cabbage, brussels sprouts and bell peppers. When Monday rolls around though, and I can just pick up a couple of plates- it’s the best feeling in the world. I’m not just standing in the door of the fridge eyeing the shelves for something to jump out at me. What are your pros and cons of meal prep?
