Get In Shape Bootcamp Session with Myke Epps
I was recently invited out to bring a couple of girlfriends to train with Trainer Myke Epps at the Get In Shape Bootcamp facility in Stone Mountain. Myke, who has been training for over 4 years, first shared the basic components that are offered at the Bootcamp. There are indoor and outdoor boot camp sessions, kickboxing, a triple A class (Arms, Abs, and Assets) and a Crossfit program.
In addition to the physical training at the bootcamp they also offer weight loss assistance, weight management, nutrition, and meal planning support. Just about everything you can think of. I loved the variety and none traditional exercise that we were taught during our session. I’m an elliptical and park trail kinda girl, that’s where I get my exercise. But during those 17 minutes, I worked muscles that I didn’t even know existed. I was completely shocked and pleasantly surprised. It felt good to break up the monotony of normal gym activity, and at the Get In Shape Bootcamp, you can count on something different daily! Wall Squats, to bench dips and the most challenging box jumps! We had such great time working out with Myke. He gave us so many tips to better our nutritional intake and even how to get some exercise in at our desk!
