Hey friends! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends, or alone if you needed a little down time, we all know how hectic this time of year can be.

As some of you might have seen on my social media pages (@byDonnaShana on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat) I attended a private event introducing Crown Royal Vanilla. The event was held rooftop at the SkyLounge with a perfect view overlooking the city. A few influencers were invited out to enjoy an evening of signature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres as well as a whiskey tasting with National Brand Ambassador Stephen Wilson.

Crown Royal Vanilla Flavored Whisky is a blend of hand selected Crown Royal whiskies infused with the rich flavor of Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla. The result is a uniquely sophisticated whisky bursting with the flavor of vanilla and the distinctive smoothness of Crown Royal.

The whiskey is amazing. It’s definitely the only Crown that I can enjoy on the rocks. It’s smooth and the vanilla flavor is bold yet not overbearing, a great combination. With the holiday season being in full swing, I thought I would share with you a couple of recipes to wow your guest from local Atlanta Mixologist, Arianne Fielder.

  • Okay..that Canadian Mule looks like it would pack a punch. I just might like it under the right circumstances 🙂 . I am not a whiskey straight up kind of person, but l think l would very much enjoy a cocktail.

  • Not a fan of vanilla but that Queen of the South sounds interesting. Definitely can’t drink it without something. Love the location of the event.

  • Crown is such a classic, I always thought of it as a real adult drink. I didn’t get into brown liquor until I got older. I learn to appreciate the smooth taste, adding vanilla to the mix sounds yummy.

  • The Lord knows what he is doing by NOT having this event in Dallas. I thought I loved Crown Apple but Vanilla came and smacked me upside down. It is so smooth on ice and I LOVE it with root beer! lol
